the light of a summer sunshine

Why is it that I can write songs only at that part of the day when sun goes down? That light that shines in my room is really something, I swear.
I'm still scared to share it with anyone. And I'm not sure about the reason. Maybe I'm afraid to fail. (Totally true.) And maybe I'm scared because there's always something personal in every song you wrote. Because you always remember the reason why you wrote it. Every time you play it...
However, I'm in a situation here. The band once mentioned that they would like to hear my stuff. I pray for that moment not to come. 'Cause I might just die of embarrassment.
But I decided I could give the singer some of my lines he might use. Yep. That could work. And I'm thinking that I should learn to fail every once in a while.
