I (freaking) heart

I freaking heart this Norway cabin. Yea and I know (and you know) that I am more of a Mediterranean type of person, but I could seriously imagine living here.
Well, it would also be great as a getaway place...
(P.S.: There is no more poetry in my pockets... Unfortunately.)

Ko veter se v lase zaleti,

tebi "irokeza" še vedno stoji!

Ko obraz ti čisto pobledi,

samo mozolj na čelu še žari.

Ko nasmehneš se, 

v meni vse umre.

Oživiti več me ni mogoče,

ko name pritiskaš ustnice pekoče.

Ljubezni moje si želiš,

ko vlažna v trugi zdaj ležiš.

Vem, da misliš name,

ko ti mravlja jé možgane.

Spominjaš spolnih se užitkov

in praznih kondomovih ovitkov...

Tower cranes

Obviously, I have a thing for tower cranes. I do not know why but they inspire me. Everytime I am passing a high crane I often trip a little. Beacuse I am watching to the top of it and thinking about the view up there. And I love the really tall ones, when you cannot see if a man is up there or not. Oh, if one day I could get a chance and climb up there...aaahhh... (Maybe I shouldn't marry a carpenter but a civil engineer! Hmmm...)

A professor (civil engineer bytheway) said today that these cranes are "ugly" because it's only steel and nothing else. Construction is vissible (and not hidden) because it was not made to be beautiful. But I think that construction can also be an amazing element of "beauty".

...you heard this song??? 'Cause I tottaly forgot that it existed. And I heard it today afert a long long time =) (it was the Ronan Keating version, but still...)
Now there's one more song on my list of songs that I want to learn (guitar cover of course).

My charm is losted?

Yep, I think I've lost my mojo too. (If I ever had it.) The last 2 days I've crawled around like a losted puppy. And I'm asking myself what happened to me. 'Cause I thought I was a social butterfly. But it seems those days are gone. Gone in the freaking winter wind...

And there are some new couples in our class! (No, none of them is me...) That proves that spring is on its way! (AND that I've lost my charm) Couldn't be more happy. Really can't wait for summer... (I hope I get my "Mojo" back 'till then. Austin did it, so can I!)

it makes me want to marry a carpenter

Everytime I see this house (of a designer Dana Miller), it makes me want to marry a carpenter. =D Guess what -  Dana married one. And her home is unique, original and inspirational.

When I grow up I want a home as inspirational as this one!

 I just freakin' LOVE the bedroom. The slide doors and beds headboard were made by her husband. More of the house here on Apartment Therapy and Dana's blog House Tweaking.

However, it's Valentines Day! Yeeeeeey! That means it's my anniversary! 2 years! Yeeeeey! 2 years of blogging! Damn, I'm good! I made excatly 80 posts in 2 years! =D Wow.
Pa da vam zdaj malo zagrenim s statistiko!

Največ ljudi pride na mojo stran z iskalnim nizom "iz kariraste police". To ste seveda vsi moji, ki me berete. =P Ampak beri-piši, obstajajo tudi takšni osebki, ki so zašli na moj blog po iskalnem nizu "kako dolgo se sušijo sedeži". (dragi moj/-a, odvisno iz kakšnega materiala so! Osebno pa predlagam usnje, bo najhitrej suho!). Nekateri privandrajo zaradi risank ("the land before time"), drugi radi kopirajo misli ("loesje i don't care" in "loesje misli"), natanko 2 osebka pa sta iskala "to do list" (google res veliko ve, ampak garantirano ne ve, kaj ti je naročil šef pred dvema dnevoma...sočustvujem).

Moj blog ste si v dveh letih(popravek - od maja 2010, odkar obstaja statistika na Bloggerju) ogledali 493-krat! Od tega decembra 111-krat in januarja 122-krat. Trenutno smo na sredini februarja in številka je 66.
Tule so ogledi po državah (kdo bi si mislil, da mi manjkajo le še trije kontinenti):

Še vedno pa mi ostaja ena neznanka. Največ ogledov SPLOH ima objava "don't look it hurts"
Kako zaboga?! Saj je vendar v slovenščini?!

Kakorkoli, konec s statistiko! Ker je danes valentinovo, vam bom pokazala še eno instalacijo. V New Yorku namreč vsako leto razpišejo oblikovni natečaj Times Square Valentine, zmagovalno idejo pa postavijo na Times Square seveda. Letos so zmagali Freecell and Peter Dorsey; to pa je njihova Lighthearted:

Yesterday I discoverred a small shop in Maribor called Gion. And I was impressed! I just love it. =) They'll see me there again...
However, they have a lot of products by Lisbeth Dahl.
And yeah, North-European countries have some serious style! =D And I heart Lisbeth Dahl for its cute (Scandinavian) style.

Is it really in our nature?

I thougt I'd share this with you. It's an advert for a hotel resort. Totally unexcpecting I'd say. It has a potential for much more.

The Land Before Time

Yesterday I watched a cartoon about dinosaurs. Maaan, I really do love these cartoons! These dinosaurs are just so cute! It makes you want to be a little dinosaur too! And live in a Dinoland! Hah!
And these cartoons always have a great message. Even for us who may be a little old for it.

They help each other!

Yep, I also wonder - whay we all want to be like everyone else?

After I did a research about these dinosaurs I found out that this cartoon is called The Land Before Time and has a lot of series. Well, I do not know what it is, but some cartoons have THE best soundtracks ever! (For example The Lion King - (one of my favourites!)-Circle of Life; The Spirit (Bryan Adams wrote most of the music and I just cannot only pick one), Pochaconthas-Colors of the Wind etc.)

"I heart" by me

I still wait for summer and sun and sea. So I found this new look of my blog really refreshing in this cold and dark winter!!! I'm still learning how to make different styles here, so be prepared for some experimenting...

Well... There's a lot of bloggers out there who just make a post about what they love at the moment (when they don't have any other idea). So - that's what I'm gonna do! And I'll try to do it once a week. (I hope I'll manage that). And this posts may be connected with architecture a lot. After all - I am an architecture student. And architecture is a way of living. And that's what will make me do more searches in interior design and other architecture. It will only be good for me, and maybe you will also get inspired how to create you living space!
