that's why I love street art

I noticed this few weeks ago in Maribor and didn't have time to post it yet... As far as I can tell these were made by PBS crew. (If you take a look at the signature, I hope I'm not wrong.) And it seems that they aren't even from Maribor. Austria, Germany perhaps?
However, it looks good.

Go sit on that chair if you dare!

Oh, we need...

Now, second of all - I plan to buy some new equipment. For making some music. :) But first of all - I have to earn some money somewhere/somehow... And FAST. So, do you have and ideas?
I have some:
1) Maybe I should add the Google AdSense to my blog. But I doubt I would earn anything. Plus - I don't even know how this works.
2) I could paint or draw something. But nowadays no one buys some quirky paintings from unknown painter.
3) I would work through the whole summer - but the firms haven't replied to my applications yet.

So, obviously this doesn't look good. And I really need my own portable piano. As soon as possible! 'Cause I hate to borrow it from anyone else. I just don't feel comfortable. And I'll probably need it next week again. 'Cause these guys from MarshAlles are pretty serious about making some music. And I would love to be a part of it. Yesterday was really great! They heard me playing Perry Mason for the first time. And I believe they really like it! Perry Mason made us all jump! Such great energy while playing that song. Ahh.
However, I belive now you understand my concerns. And I'm really looking forward to read your ideas on how to earn some quick money!

jump and touch the sky? no, FLY and touch the sky.

Hmm, it's been awhile since I posted here. But last 3 weeks were really crazy.
However, now I'm making a ton of posts! You'll see! :) I still like writing in english - I miss it.
Well, in those last 3 weeks I made some decisions and plans for my life. Actually for the summer. Or for my life. Because I probably won't be able to fulfill all of my wishes this summer.
First of all - my interest in paragliding has return. Last week I met a paraglider and I'm totally into this sport again! It's a funny story actually - I don't even know his name, because I totally freezed. (I have to stop doing that.) I was on my bicycle because I was looking a perfect location for a "mini-project" for school. And I saw a paraglider paragliding. Hah :) And when he landed at the bottom of the hill, I decided to go closer to take a look and maybe just wave to him. 'Cause I thought it was really LONG way up. (And I'm used to see older paragliders with families and kids here in Štatenberg.) But I miscalculated everything. This guy was kinda young and he was up to the top of the hill in a few minutes. I was kinda shocked, 'cause I really didn't expect that. However later we found out that he knows my father, and offered to arrange flying in tandem with professional flyer if I wanted to. Well, yes please! From now on I'll take my bike more often to the castle. They'll sure see me again! Oh, these paragliders. Today it seems a little windy. Maybe I'll go take a look if there's anyone flying.

In kaj naj še rečem? Ugajajo.

you know this place?

Have you ever heard of Bokod? That's a (small?) town in Hungary. And to me it looks really inspiring!
(DO I SMELL A ROADTRIP?!)

"Yes, this is a cult."

Great people, small stage (it felt like a private concert to me) and rusty equipmnet cases marked with triads.
If I had to say whose tatoos I like the most - it would be Shannons. Absolutely love the triad on his neck. (I have a picture somewhere...) He's 41. And he's a kick-ass drummer.
After seeing his drumms I like him even more. His drums are custom made: "His drums are decorated with RockenWraps Skin artwork that features photos of over 400 people of the Echelon." I admire.
And this is Braxton Olita. He's from Hawaii and he creates sounds and projections and much more for 30STM. (I also like his tatoos.) I admit I've never heard of him before. But he dated Ashlee Simpson (before Pete Wentz came into the picture - I also like his tatoos of course! plus he's a bass player.) and even played with her band.
Tomo wears some awesome jacket here, doesn't he?! I like his long hair. (But not the beard, hehe.) He's the youngest member of 30 STM and when he was little - he wanted to be a concert-violinist. Now he's a rockstar. Thank god...

Some more footage from concert. (No Jared - I got fascinated by other members, sorry dude.) And now I promise I'll stop! Though I admit I became even a bigger fan of this "cult". Echelon, triads and so on. And the tatoos! Just love it... (Mostly on band members of course.)
Okay, now I almost went and put all of the pictures of their tatoos up here... I won't. Must stop this thing I have for tatoos... Sometimes I feel like getting one. What would you say if I really decide to go for it?

30 Seconds To Mars - Finally

Well, Friday was really an awesome day! You can expect more posts about this concert.
So this is the (little) crowd in Zagreb where 30 Seconds To Mars played 3 days ago. Maaan, they really nailed it. And I had the best time ever.
Though there were moments that I acted like a 13-year-old-crazy-girl-fan. (And I'm not proud of that.)
Otherwise I must say that people there were overally really nice. Expecially the security guy that stood by us. He proves that there still exist kindness in our world. And I made sure to thank him. 'Cause there's nothing better than making someones day even better than it is (with letting them on stage with the band they admire for example). And he smiled when I thank him (twice!), so it's also great for me because I put a smile on his face.
I've just read this article from antimusic.com about the band and their album. And that's exactly how I feel and what I think about this band.
And knowing that "Closer to the Edge" almost didn't get to the record makes me gasp a little. 'Cause this song was THE reason I started to listen to them. I've heard it so many times and it's still my favourite and each time I hear it it's even better.
Guess all of other crazy fans out there can only say to me: "Welcome to the family."

don't make yourself too busy

In 10 minutes I'm off to Maribor, so this gotta be a quick one...
I believe this blog has become my diary of things that I love and that inspire me. I can't say that you love it too or that they inspire you too. But at least you'll still know what's happening with me and in my head. Lately no interesting things happen to me. My life became kinda boring. And it's mostly because I don't really have time to do interesting things (not even the things I love to do) anymore. Yeah, school is killing me right now:) And probably you too.

So, this is a collection of stuff I like.
And just for a reminder, you/I/we should never forget this:

that's why I love street art

A project by Candy Chang. "Candy Chang is a public installation artist, designer, urban planner /.../ who likes to make cities more comfortable for people."
I was just exploring her website because I loved the Before I Die project that she made in her neighborhood. Gotta say she's great.

Czech R. - part 2

Yep, I finally got some pictures together.

Czech Republic is all about beer, right? (btw, do you see "bunka"?!!!)
Prague
Hard Rock Cafe!! (Outside...)

(...and inside)
1. Karlův most ( I was the proudest peson alive with that Hard Rock bag!); 2. Waiting somewhere in Kutna Hora; 3. Can you see me??? =D

Few of my favourite buildings to see (Villa Mueller by Adolf Loos; Prague Castle renewed by Plečnik; Church of the Sacred Heart by Plečnik - I especially liked the view from the clock!; and Dancing House by Frank Gehry - where saddly we couldn't get in)
And what I figured out:
Obviously my favorite place to go in a big city is Hard Rock Cafe.
Prague is actually pretty great.
Still don't like beer.
And we should get Starbucks in Slovenia (preferably in Maribor...)
